Description

In the wiki I mention that WP7-P026VA1 is the connector on the LCD and the board should have connector WP7A-S026VA1. I don’t think that is the case, although I cannot get the WP7-P026VA1s that I accidentally ordered to mate with what I believe is the LCD connector, which I believe is a WP7A-S026VA1. Pictures coming.

Actually these might be Panasonic connectors. AXE526124 looks really similar (Digikey 255-3193-1-ND

It looks like Panasonic has a few 0.4mm families that interconnect. I have to do a detailed analysis of the different families to see if there something “hidden” that would prevent them from interoperating. http://pewa.panasonic.com/components/connectors/narrow-pitch-board-to-fpc-connectors/a4f, but A4S and F4/F4S all look compatible.

The Panasonic connectors are not compatible. Right now I’m just ordering in iPhone motherboard display connectors.
